Hawes Road to be closed in Q.C. Aug. 19-Sept. 4

Hawes Road will be closed between Queen Creek and Ocotillo roads starting next week.
The closure will start at 5 a.m., Aug. 19 and is scheduled to be reopened at 3 p.m., Sept. 4.
The road is being closed for the completion of the Gilbert Central Arizona Project Waterline Project. Local traffic to the residential neighborhoods north of Ocotillo Road and west of Hawes Road will have access from Ocotillo Road only. Local access will not be maintained from the north. Traffic traveling on Rittenhouse Road will still be able to access Queen Creek Road to travel west during the closure.
